We write this letter with much gratitude and respect for the service that you provide for the organisation’s success. Valuing your presence and dedication. It has been a great pleasure having you onboard and we hope you enjoy your time with us. We hope to have you with us for the many years to come as a part of our organisational family tree. Please take a moment to read this letter, as these are a few things we wanted to let you know.

We know and appreciate you!

Now, although you think we live in that HR bubble, don’t think we don’t know you and your progress. We are HR, we know most of the things that happen inside office and we don’t mean it in a bad way. We might not be friends with you but we know who you are. So if we don’t smile every time you pass by or make small talk, just know it’s not personal. We know about the project you pulled off and we know you are always on time to work. Thank you for the hard work, we’re sure it’s made a lot of peoples work easier!

You can always come talk to us

The word “always” doesn’t necessarily mean small talk or chit chat, although that’s fine once in a while if there’s spare time. But we mean your concerns, and issues that you are too afraid to voice, we won’t judge, but listen and give you a solution. That is what we are here for! If you are afraid to talk thinking it will reach someone outside, trust us, your secret’s safe with us. If something is bothering you, we can make the workspace feel safe and comfortable again!

We intend to make things better

Our main goal and purpose is to make everyone’s experience a good one and in the process there will be times that it might seem unfair. Instances where tough decisions are taken, they are made up of the input of many people and it is not intended at one person’s benefit. Every decision is taken by evaluating many different opinions and it is not one party making the call. We work hard to make everyone’s experience a good one and at certain instances decisions are made for the benefit of the majority not necessary on an individual basis.

This is a letter to everyone on the outside looking in. Those who wonder why certain things are the way they are. It is not easy working with people, and the many personalities that we have encountered have made us understand that. Although, we find that those many different personalities make our work worthwhile and an organisation what it is.
